How to Find Us

The lane to Vanna Bungalows branches off the main Kep road - right opposite the road leading to the crab market. The lane is about 500 meters long. The aircondition bus from Phnom Penh stops right on the lane to Vanna Bungalows. Tell the driver to stop at "plow bike psah k'dam" (corner of crab-market-street). To Vanna Bungalow, you walk up the hill (there are clear, convenient signs of course).

If you have a phone, call us at 012 - 755 038 - we pick you up on the main road by car or motorcycle.

Coming from Phnom Penh...

...you have several options to reach peaceful Vanna Bungalows:

  • Phnom Penh has good air-condition busses straight to Kep (about 3 or 4 hours, about 5 USD). In the capital, the bus station is at the Olympic Stadium opposite Wat Pre'ah Budh

  • Minibusses in Phnom Penh depart from Damkohr Market ("Psah Damkohr"). Make very sure they go to Kep, not to Kampot only! (Currently there are minibusses to Kep only between 12 lunchtime and about 2.30 pm)

  • Hiring a private taxi is another option; ask at Damkohr Market

Coming from Kampot...

...you can take a motorcycle taxi or the big aircondition bus or hire a private taxi.

Coming from Sihanoukville...

...you take the minibus to Kampot first, or you take a private taxi straight to Kep.

Leaving Kep...

...feel free to ask us for any information or assistance for your onward travels. If you want, we arrange bus tickets or private taxis for you (we take no profit from those services). If you want, from Vanna Bungalows you can go straight to Phnom Penh International Airport.

A Word About Motodups and Commissions

We don't pay commission to motorcycle taxi drivers (motodups). This means: Some motodups in Kep or Kampot may tell you that Vanna Bungalows are full, closed, charge 1000 USD/night or have any kind of problem. Don't believe them! They just want to bring you to another accomodation that pays commission for new customers. If you call us from Kep, we pick you up in town. You can also call us for transportation from Kampot.
